A character-driven movie involving adolescent girls that I enjoyed - will wonders never cease! This intelligent and engaging film is based upon a novel by Ann Brashares, and features four talented young actresses. If you're tired, as I am, of star-vehicle teen movies whose characters move in painfully predictable patterns, this movie might be the breath of fresh air you need.

Four young friends discover a pair of pants in a vintage store which fits them all perfectly, dispute the four's differing body shapes. They agree to share the pants over the summer, as they each go their seperate ways, with the promise to detail the experiences had while wearing the pants, to each other.

Never predicable, and avoids the typical Hollywood ending, while delivering the genuine feel-good goods.
