Jolie and Pitt play married couple John & Jane Smith; together for 6 years, but with the luster gone from their relationship. Is it time for marriage counseling? No! All they need do is reveal the truth; that unbeknownst to each other, both are top international assassins! Instant martial bliss returns!

Well OK, there's a little more plot to it than that, but not by much. Really, there's isn't a lot of room for a pesky plot, what with all the coverage of the insanely beautiful couple, and all that crackling chemistry they churn up together. To their credit, Jolie and Pitt seem not to take themselves terribly seriously, appearing to understand how easily the movie could become a self-parodying ego-trip.

With a big Hollywood budget in director Doug Liman's corner, there wasn't much chance he'd fail to deliver the slick action - there's a great chase sequence, pretty explosions, and nice-looking hand-to-hand combat. Did I mention Brad Pitt looks hot throughout?

The movie was a fun romp with sex appeal to spare, and only a few over the top groan-inducing plot travesties.
