Miss Dior Chérie
Abstract: Classical inspiration with a twist
Dimensions: 1.7 oz
Miss Dior, released in 1947, serves as the muse for this fresh new scent. While maintaining the chypré notes of the original, some surprising and playful notes puncuate the freshness of the fruits, to produce an altogether new and intriguing fragrance. Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough, is the face for the scent.
Type: Fruity
Notes: Green Tangerine, Strawberry Leaves, Violet, Pink Jasmine, Wild Strawberry, Pop Corn, Patchouli, Crystalline Musk
Available in: Eau de Parfum

When the Dior house announced that "Miss Dior Cherie" would be seriously youth oriented, they weren't kidding. This scent is the smell of my youth in a nutshell (unfortunately, it doesn't smell as flattering to me at 26, as it must have at 15). To me, this scent is a mix of Calvin Klein's "CKone", Elizabeth Arden's "Sunflowers" and strawberry patchouli oil--with a hint of creamy sweet "Victoria's Secret" lotions. In my opinion it's not as "carnival/fairgrounds aftermath" as other reviewers have expressed, but it does have the metallic thiness so common in popular scents of the 1990's. Very subtle, with little staying power, but a pleasant enough scent.

Looks great, lovely presentation. This fragrance starts off well, then fizzles, it just didn't develop into anything! ....All has to do with the right body chemistry I'm sure.

This fragrance looked quite promising to me when I read about it - it looked fresh and fruity (my fav), however, when I tested it, I wasn't terribly impressed. It started nice, but morphed into a too-sweet smell. Or perhaps it's just my body chemistry talking here.
