I just baught this fragrance and i love it! I put it on in the morning after i showered, went through the day, got in to bed and STILL smelled it on me. This sent does have staying power, and it smells fresh and light! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Kudos to SJP!

I happen to think Lovely was the perfect name for SJP's first fragrance and it is an apt name. I really thought it does smell lovely.. it is soft, sublte but has such texture and complexity to it. I wear this all the time and many compliments and inquiries to what I am wearing.

I liked this smell on my friend so my mom bought it for me for xmas. It smells like deodorant. I don't know if I can take it back.......

This is possibly the most disgusting perfume I've ever smelled in my life. I love Sarah Jessica Parker, but not her perfume.

When this came out, I was so excited and went to a department store distinctly wanting to buy Lovely. When I smelled it though, I surprised at how boring and unoriginal it seemed...it kinda smelled powdery to me, and not the type of perfume I would smell on a person and be like "wow, that person smells so good!" If I were to buy it at all, it would be for Spring/Summer only, but I think there are way better smelling perfumes out there

its my favourite fragrence i have smelt in years, i just love sjp anyway so ill be buying this everytime my bottles empty. am waiting for a second one to come out

I hate perfume and this is the only one I can wear that does not give me a headache. Everytime I wear it someone comments on it.

As a huge SATC and SJP fan, I was also excited about smelling/buying her fragrance. I was disappointed as it didn't really "grab" me. I still love SATC reruns and SJP, but her fragrance wouldn't be my first choice. It's just ok.

Hey does this smell like JPG Classique to anyone else out there? Great fragrance, just doesn't seem to last though. That is the only flaw.

I was originally very excited about this scent because it's endorsed by SJP. All it took was one whiff to turn me away forever. It's very flowery, and not in a good way, but in an "old lady going to bingo" way. Just very EW.

I have found that the smell does last. I use the body lotion along with the perfume, and when I get home from work and put on my comfy clothes, my boyfriend goes crazy smelling my skin. I love it.

"Lovely" scent, but hardly lasts 10 minutes. Very disappointed. Not worth the money for that reason.

At first I was a bit..um uh.. I dont know.. but then ten minutes later, it hit me like I a brick wall.. I cant get enough of this fragrance.. it is so fresh and light.. I absolutely love it.. oh so lovely

I wanted to like this because it is from SJP. My initial reaction was a big NO!! After it has a chance to dry down, it is actually quite nice, can definitely smell the apple martini.

My husband bought this for me after I had insisted I wanted this - if not for any other reason except the name Sarah Jessica Parker. I was wondering if it smelled at all like the package, since this smelled like an old granny. Well, I assumed this was not indicative of the scent. Wrong - that was the scent, and it smelled awful, like something you'd spray to get rid of mosquitos! A mixture of a bad smelling deodorant and mosquito poison, yuk! Not so lovely, eh?

I was so taken with Lovely when I first tried it on that I bought the larger bottle, 3.3oz. I think, right there on the spot. But, an hour after spritzing it on I could no longer smell it. After several attempts to wear it, but with the same disappointing results, I ended up throwing it away. I'm giving it two stars because it does smell wonderful, but has zip lasting power. Heard that this was getting high returns at Nordstrom because of its lack of staying power.

oooh, i love this perfume so much. i have always worn j'adore, and have been looking for a new fragrance for a long time. it's beautiful, feminine, and sophisticated. contrary to what others have said, it lasts all day on me. my boyfriend is very picky about perfume, but when he smelled this on me he went, "mmmmmmmm....." one word to describe lovely...classic

I just got my bottle this morning and here it is 3:00 and I still can smell its great scent. A couple of people commented, at lunch the waiter asked who was wearing that really good scent, and it was me! I love it and I definitely recommend it to people who like light, clean scents...I usually wear Philosophy Amazing Grace or Ralph Lauren Blue, so if you like those and want a more elegant and slightly stronger scent for fall definitely go with LOVELY!

Luscious scent that has a complexity of light top notes and warm, deep low notes that gives the wearer interest and depth. The notes coexist happily and never compete or conflict. The fragrance evolves nicely over several hours and stays multi-dimensional, never going flat.

I loveeee this perfume. I am honestly not worried what kind of scents she combined I like the way it smells when i put it on. The bottle's also very pretty. I really like the whole idea of a subtle scent thats elegant and sophisticated. It could last longer but its still great! Several people have mentioned that i smell good. I would definatly buy it again.

This perfume is fantastic! I am a perfume-a-holic and very picky. There isn't one single draw back to the wonderful scent. It lasts all day long on me-everyone's chemistry is different and that may effect its staying power-I recommend layering it with the lotion for all-day wear. Try this perfume if you don't try any others, it's perfect!!!

Cannot agree with those who have said the scent doesn't last. I spritzed this a.m. apres shower, and am still enjoying the subtle warm scent gently enveloping. As with flowers in full bloom, you may not smell them ALL THE TIME, but when a soft, humid breeze awakes their essence, then you notice. This, to me, is classic fragrance, a souvenir of the individual who wears it. Maybe not for everyone, but a memorable signature scent for those who enjoy it.
