This really is a true "apple" fragrance. It is a fruity, spicy concoction that I love to wear when I'm feeling flirty and girlish. It is a fun scent to wear and one of my staples for casual afternoon delight.

I'm not a big fan of fruity-fresh-gourmandes, but both Donna Karen apple scents are fabulous. They truly smell like apples, without the metallic sweetness often found in apple-note scents.
"Red delicious" is the spicier of the two; the end result is a fresh, yet comforting scent that awakens the senses and feels like home. Like colonial potpurri mixed with ice (I swear, it works) there is an urban edginess to "Red delicious"...it's "back to work in the city, with a lunchbag of holiday leftovers from mom".
