I am not quite sure I'm in love with this offering from VW. I wanted to but there is something that seems to be missing... it is very much white floral but lacks a warmth I guess... it is kind of a cold fragrance. I can wear it, it is very classy and elegant... but I wanted something with a little more fire to it.

Firstly, with the exception of the gardenia, I have to admit that white flower fragrances are not my preference. So, I'll try to be fair with "Vera".
I can accept the artistry of this scent; The floral harmony and ethereal sheerness evident in "Vera" is captivating. However, there is a distinct metallic quality to the rose that I find particularily off-putting. Had the rose been a little less green in quality, "Vera" could've had its much needed drop of humanity. There is not one bit of carnal behavior in this scent, which I suppose would make it appropriate for all the angelic brides who spray "Vera" on their chapel veils. Out of that setting, however, it affects me in the same way Estee Lauder's "Pleasures" does: It is a quietly beautiful monument that exists beyond the pettiness of earthly desire. Divinely pure and busy with more serious matters, it's better than us--and what's more, it knows it.

This perfume is light and classy. It is a nice floral mix but not too heavy. I get compliments on it all the time!

This perfume along with the sheer veil is an awesome fragrance. If you love wearing your man's fragrance, well ladies, this is everything, musky with a feminine tone. It smells gorgeous and lasts.

Vera Wang's design is timeless and classic, her fragrance echoes these sentiments. The scent is so sophisticated and romantic, I wore it on my wedding day.

elegant, beautiful rosey scent that can be worn for any occasion! the larger bottle is a little hard to spritz with, it's so huge and heavy you have to use 2 hands. but worth the trouble. lovely scent!!
