The EX-Z4U comes equipped with a new 3-segment telescoping optical zoom lens (SMC PENTAX). In addition to minimal distortion and high resolution, a revolutionary new design allows the center lenses to slide upwards when retracted. This makes it possible to create a lens module, which contributes to the overall thinness of the camera.

The EX-Z4U has a new 1/2.5-inch square pixel primary color CCD. The result? Super speed, reduced blurring due to movement and no need for flash in low lighting positions. In the end, you get a great shot.

TFT-LCD Interface
The world's first digital interface TFT LCD for a digital camera was specially designed and produced by CASIO for the EXILIM. The digital interface eliminates the need for a converter, which saves on space and eliminates the need for extra components. And because of the large LCD, it makes playback a breeze. You can even use the LCD as a desktop picture frame for a favorite photo slide-show.

Lithium-Ion Battery
High-performance rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries are standard in all EXILIM models.
Recharging is a simple matter of putting the camera into the included USB docking station or using the optional external battery charger.
