When buying the product the consultant in the shop instructed me to apply the serum only under the makeup.
On the package there is information about applying the essence only as last step in skincare... huh... does it mean after cleaning and tonic but still under makeup...?

The serum should be applied after cleaning & tonic, and before makeup application.
The cleaning step of skincare should always be your base, to start off fresh. Anything special like a serum goes on afterwards, with makeup as the last step.
